How To Help The Victims Of The Connecticut School Shooting
Hello everyone, as I am sure you all know there has been a horrific school shooting that has taken place. New details are constantly emerging and I am sure that while we are all asking ourselves ‘Why?’ that we are all looking for ways to help the victims of the Newtown school shooting. I will be posting as many resources as I find to help out, please let me know if you see any that I miss.
UPDATE!! Danbury hospital now has a fund open where you can donate for medical expenses, etc. See this link or call 203- 739-7227 to help out. Here is the direct link to the donation page to the hospital. Simply put that it’s for the Newtown School shooting victims.

Bears can be dropped off at Hersam Acorn’s office, 1000 Bridgeport Ave., second floor, Shelton starting Monday, Dec. 17. Any business or organization wishing to serve as a collection site or needs to arrange a collection should contact John Kovach at email@example.com.
Bears can be donated until Friday, Dec. 28.

It looks like Indiegogo has exploded with a lot more funds for this cause. I urge you to check them out here and I will be posting a direct link to ones that catch my eye.
This fund is for healing through art. You are encouraged to additionally send art, photos, letters to the school to show your support.

There is a Quilt Shop that is asking for people to help donate 600 homemade pillow cases.

The Matthews Casket Company of Hamden, CT is willing to furnish all 26 families caskets at no charge to the funeral director and or family (Thank you Amy, for letting us know.)
